First day in Jena

This is looking out our apartment window overlooking a campus and up into the hills and countryside.

This is the entrance to our building. We are on the 9th floor. It was built in 1930 and is considered a new building and the first "skyscraper" in Jena.

As we drove from Frankfurt to Jena we needed to stop for lunch and were happy to see a familiar sight. I know, pathetic.

  1. LOVE the pictures! Jena looks like a really cute town and I hope you guys are getting a chance to explore...slowly but surely. McDonalds...really...? Now that you have that out of your system...
